I can’t get enough of our outdoor grill. We bought it recently, but since our moving to Indiana we’ve been using it every weekend. We use hardwood charcoal and the food comes out with a nice woody flavor. Just the way we love it.
Grilled Asparagus With Garlic And Parmesan
Asparagus is one of my favorite veggies. I’ve used to cook it in the oven and it always tasted great. But since we bought a grill, I started experimenting with different grilling recipes. The recipe that I’m going to tell you about today is super simple. Just trim off the tough asparagus ends, season and place it on a grill. Couple of minutes on both sides and voila! You have a nice and flavorous side dish which will compliment your main meal.
- ½ lb asparagus
- 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese
- 2-3 tablespoons olive oil
- Trim off the tough ends of the asparagus. Toss it with garlic, salt and olive oil. Place it on a grill rack and cook it for 3-4 minutes on each side or until browned and tender. Remove from the grill and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Serve immediately.
