    • Garlic powder. Adds a savory flavor to the dressing.

Tips For Making the Best Tuna Pasta Salad

    • Choose your pasta wisely: For this recipe, you can use macaroni or fusilli. Both work well, but feel free to try other short pasta shapes like penne or farfalle.
    • Don't overcook the pasta: Make sure to cook the pasta according to the package instructions. For this recipe, you'll want it al dente, which means it should still have a bit of bite to it.
    • Make the most of your dressing: The dressing for this salad is a mix of Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar. It's creamy, tangy, and full of flavor. Be sure to mix it well before adding it to the salad to ensure it's evenly distributed.

    Serving Suggestions

    • Want a light lunch? This refreshing tuna pasta salad pairs perfectly with a side of breadsticks or crackers. The crunch of the bread compliments the soft pasta and tender tuna.
    • For a more filling meal, serve this tuna pasta salad with potato wedges or roasted vegetables. The hearty veggies and potatoes add a satisfying touch to this dish.
    • If you're in the mood for something cozy, enjoy this tuna pasta salad as a side dish with a warm bowl of tomato soup or some stuffed mushrooms. The rich, savory flavors of these dishes contrast beautifully with the light, zesty salad.
    • This tuna pasta salad can also be enjoyed on its own as a quick, on-the-go meal. Just pack it in a sealed container, and you're ready to tackle the day!

    • Whole Wheat Pasta: If you're looking to add more fiber to your diet, this variation is perfect for you. Simply swap out the regular pasta for whole wheat pasta. It's a simple switch that will make your tuna pasta salad a little bit healthier.
    • Italian Flavors: If you love the flavors of Italy, you can enhance this dish by adding some chopped fresh basil, a few cherry tomatoes, olives, and a sprinkle of parmesan cheese or even feta cheese.
    • Fresh Herbs: Feel free to experiment with fresh herbs you may like, such as chopped fresh dill or parsley.
