Peanut Butter, Caramelised Pears and Mint RITZ Cracker Appetizer

Serves: 15 appetizers
  • RITZ Original Cracker
  • Peter PanĀ® Creamy Peanut Butter
  • ½ firm pear, halved, hulled and thinly sliced widthwise
  • ½ tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 15 small fresh mint leaves, for garnish
  1. Place 15 RITZ Original Cracker on a serving plate.
  2. Using a spoon or a pastry bag with a flower tip, pipe peanut butter on to a cracker.
  3. In a small non-stick skillet over medium heat, melt butter and add pears.
  4. Give them a few minutes to soften, then sprinkle with sugar, toss and allow sugar to evenly coat pears about 1 minute.
  5. Off the heat and cool slightly.
  6. Place 1 piece of caramelised pear on to a cracker and garnish with a mint leaf.
  7. Enjoy!
