    Vegan meal prep is a great way to make sure you’re eating healthy and fueling your body properly.

    There are many vegan meal prep recipes that are easy to follow and easy to prepare. I've collected a variety of these recipes while helping you save the time and in-depth preparation time. 

    What Is Vegan Meal Prep?

    Meal Prep is a process of planning the weekly menu and then cooking or precooking your meals ahead of time.

    If you've tried meal prep at least once you know how useful it is in reducing some of that stress associated with cooking something new every day.

    It's not too difficult to carve out 1 or 2 hours of time each Sunday to prep the ingredients/sauces and partly cook some of the recipes for the week.

    If you do that, you'll see how rewarding it is and this will quickly turn you into a meal prep enthusiast.

     

    How To Start Meal Prepping?

    There are two methods for meal prepping.

    The first method is to fully cook your week's worth of meals. You can do this on Sunday or when you have a day off.

    This is very convenient, because then you have all your recipes cooked and ready to be consumed.

    As a downside to this method - the longer your meals sit in the fridge, the less flavorful they may become.

    The second easy vegan meal prep method which I really love is prepping the ingredients ahead of time versus cooking meals. What you do is basically make a menu, go grocery shopping and then chop/cut/slice all ingredients for your meals.

    You can put them in separate containers and store in fridge. When you're ready to cook, you'll have all the ingredients prepped and ready and it will dramatically cut down on cooking time.

    A huge plus of this plant-based meal prep method is that all your meals will always be fresh and super tasty because you literally just cooked them from the ingredients you prepped ahead of time.

    My takeaway?

    I recommend doing a combo meal prep in which you fully cook some of the meals and for the rest of your menu items you simply prep the ingredients.
