    • 1 slice bread preferably sourdough
    • 1 teaspoon olive oil
    • ½ c cottage cheese
    • 1 lemon zested
    • ¼ teaspoon salt
    • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
    • ½ apple cored and sliced into thin pieces
    • 1 tablespoon chili crunch or to taste

    Instructions

    • Toast the bread in a toaster.
    • Add olive oil, cottage cheese, lemon zest, salt, and pepper to a blender and blend for a few seconds until smooth.
    • Fill a pastry bag fitted with a round tip with whipped cottage cheese.
    • Arrange sliced apples on toasted bread.
    • Pipe the cottage cheese over the apples in a continuous, winding swirl.
    • Drizzle with chili crisp and serve immediately.

    • Blending the cottage cheese makes it extra smooth and creamy, giving you a spreadable base that feels more elevated than straight from the tub.
    • If you don’t have a pastry bag, use a zip-top bag with the corner snipped off. It still gives you control over the swirl without needing special tools.
